The GVA Way
The GVA Way
Mission
Great Valley Academies create a safe, loved, learning environment where all students develop foundational thinking skills and positive character traits to achieve their greatest potential.
Vision
Great Valley Academies envision thriving communities strengthened by individuals who act with confidence, learn tenaciously, celebrate the differences of others, and positively impact the world around them.

Safe Loved Learning
Core Elements of the GVA Way
Beliefs
Core Beliefs are the "big ideas" that guide everything we do as a school. They describe what we believe about students, learning, and community, and they remind us of what matters most, even when decisions get hard.

When a school is clear about its Core Beliefs, it builds trust. Families know the "why" behind school decisions, staff stay aligned around shared values, and students benefit from a safe, consistent, and inspiring place to learn.
Values
Core Values are the everyday principles that guide how we act as a school community. If Core Beliefs are the "big ideas," then Core Values are the practical behaviors that put those ideas into action. They shape how teachers teach, how staff interact, and how students learn to treat one another.

When a school is consistent in living its Core Values, families can count on a culture that is safe, respectful, and inspiring for every child.
Pillars
The Five Pillars are the foundation of the GVA Way. They are the big focus areas that keep our school strong and balanced. Like the legs of a table, each one supports the whole. Together, they guide how we support students academically, socially, and emotionally while keeping our community healthy.

When a school stands firmly on its pillars, students, staff, and families experience stability and purpose.
